Design process

Consultation

After further discussion, the agreed format would be taken to the next stage – this involves building the site and testing it in all the major browsers. After final approval the site would go liv

Hosting

Email, webspace and domain names can be arranged on your behalf. Domain names are registered to you and remain your property. This means that your website can be moved to another host at a later stage.

Updating your site

If you don't want the headache of updating the site yourself, then a six or twelve month maintenance contract can be agreed. If you prefer to update your site yourself using a Content Management System, then this can be arranged.

Some clients do both, updating frequent text changes themselves and leaving trickier updates to us, such as image retouching.

When a client updates text themselves, the site can become messy, multi-coloured and lose its identity, so a restricted palette of fonts and colours can be added to the Content Management System.

Fees

After the initial consultation stage, we would provide an estimate of cost and a schedule detailing both our timetable and the response times required from the client. We would simply require a signed copy of this estimate and schedule of work and a payment of 25% of the fee in order to start creating the site.
